Support for Young Adults with Cancer

During Brent's battle with leukemia, there were many moments when we felt lost, overwhelmed, and unsure where to turn. Through Brent's-Giving, we've had the opportunity to connect with the Blood Cancer community and learn that there are incredible organizations and resources available to help patients and families throughout their cancer journey.

We know firsthand how important it is to have support beyond medical treatment. That's why we've compiled a collection of resources specifically for adolescents and young adults (AYA) facing cancer. These programs offer everything from financial assistance and educational support to peer connections, mental health resources, caregiver guidance, and survivorship programs.

The resources highlighted below represent just a snapshot of the many free services available through organizations such as Blood Cancer United and others dedicated to supporting young adults with cancer. Most AYA programs are designed for individuals diagnosed up to age 39.

Thanks to the generosity of donors and supporters, many of these resources are provided at no cost to patients and their families. We hope this information helps you find support, build connections, and feel a little less alone during your journey.
